Our Services
Dry Needling
A technique that is performed by our certified Physical Therapist to release or inactivate trigger points to relieve pain and improve range of motion. We offer self-pay treatment sessions for $60 and each follow up session for $55.
Manual Therapy
We provide manual therapy techniques that are intended to improve tissue extensibility; increase range of motion; manipulate soft tissue and joints; modulate pain; and reduce soft tissue swelling, inflammation, or restriction.
Therapeutic Exercise
We provide individualized exercise programs with that will help reach your rehabilitation goals. Our therapists will guide you through each exercise and stretch to ensure proper technique. Each program is designed specifically for your body’s needs.
Sports Rehab & Performance
We treat injured athletes of all ages and sports with an individualized plan of care that helps them reach their rehabilitative goals to ensure that they can return to their sport or activity.
Post-Surgical Rehabilitation
We work with Doctors from all over the area to ensure a successful rehabilitation process after a surgery. We specialize post-surgery rehab for rotator cuff tears, ACL tears, total knee/hip surgeries, and more! If you have a surgery coming up, schedule with us to begin the rehab process right away.
Electrical Stimulation
Is a therapeutic treatment that uses electrical impulses to elicit a muscle contraction that assists in reducing pain and inflammation on the treated area.
Joint Manipulation
Joint manipulation is a quick stretch applied to a joint with enough force to cause a release of nitrogen gas and the "popping" sound you hear. This change in joint pressure can improve joint mobility and overall muscle function. We offer self-pay joint manipulation sessions for $50. Each follow-up session only $40. Schedule today!
Work Injury Treatment
Our programs focus on functional movement and employ proven methods. We accept workers’ compensation insurances and work collaboratively with case managers in order to provide a quick return to work.

Physical Therapy is not only for those that are in pain. We help prevent injuries before they happen. Consult with us to correct muscle imbalances and improve your overall strength, flexibility, range of motion and movement mechanics!
Graston
An instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization technique that is used to break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions to increase range of motion. The tools come in different shapes and sizes and can be used on various muscles all over the body.
Kinesiotaping
A rehabilitative taping technique that is applied to various muscles and joints to decrease swelling and reduce tension on a muscle or ligament. It is designed to facilitate the natural healing process of the body, while providing support and stability to the applied area.
Dr. Ramirez has an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. In addition, she has earned a Master’s Degree in Women’s Health and certification as an Ergonomics Assessment Specialist

Dr. Ramirez has an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. In addition, she has earned a Master’s Degree in Women’s Health and certification as an Ergonomics Assessment Specialist. She is educated on how to identify, prevent, and manage injuries in the work place. She specializes in treating all types of muscle and joint pain, sports injuries and more! As clinic owner of Physical Therapy of Wales, she works closely with referring physicians and assists patients in achieving their rehab goals, while educating them on injury prevention.

In 2010 she received a bachelor of science for pre-physical therapy and a minor in Spanish. In 2012 she completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. After graduation, she immediately began fellowship training in manual physical therapy techniques and completed the requirements for fellowship status in 2016. Maria also completed her certification in dry needling for all areas of the body in 2018. Over the last 8 years she has worked in the outpatient setting specializing in the treatment of spine disorders for 3 of those years. Additionally, Maria participates in yearly medical mission trips to Guatemala as part of an orthopedic surgery team, where she aides in the post operative care and rehabilitation of the patients.
Maria also has a passion for sports and teaching, she played soccer at the collegiate level and continues to both play and coach in the Milwaukee area. She has taught joint mobilization courses for new graduates and physical therapy assistants. Maria loves to share her knowledge with her patients to give them a better understanding of their injury process, pain and how to make the best recovery.

Jordan also coordinates PTW’s internal and external marketing initiatives to help educate the community on the services that PTW provides. In his free time Jordan enjoys outdoor activities, playing sports, and spending time with his friends and family.
